The Dream

up into the forest i took a walk. silently seeking a moonlight talk.
Her most Gracious, I was hoping to find, down the wooded mountain, the path did wind.
into a clearing the path did stop ... a crytal clear lake, perfectly hidden, from the mountains' top.

the skies they twinkled with zillions of stars, reflecting their long journeys from afar.

the full moon shone, extrodinaire, as fireflies flitted all through the air.

the scent of the trees, the plants and the earth, filled my heart with a humble rebirth.

i made my way to the waters shore, feeling Her presense drawing me, ever more.

standing upon the waters' edge, closing my eyes .... intune in my head.

my sight then taken to the center of the lake, under my feet, the earth did quake,

the water opened and She then arose. Loving and kindred, all shining and aglow.

silvery and whispy, her breath i could feel, caressing my heart, taken back on my heel.

water falling upon me like rain, a golden wave covered me, Her Essense, Her Stain.

She towered above me, All Beauty ......... All Life. the earths' Blessed Mother, my Sister, the HornedOnes' wife.

I looked upon my once sallow skin ....... all golden, aglow ..... all Her beuty within.

as She blew a breath so fresh was the air... me standing in awe, lost in my stare.

not seeing the stars that no longer twinkled....faint dots in the sky they were sprinkled.

the skies were the brightest thru the darkest of dark, the moon consumed, softly glowing ....shining straight thru her Heart.

She looked upon me, it was then that she smiled, a warmth fell upon me, i became one with the wild.

all total hearts were beating as one, me ... the earth ... the sky ...... all her work done.

seeing my reflection in this sacred lake, golden and glowing in the gentle wake.

She too soon departed in a flash of fire and rain, me standing there ...

all golden ..... all tamed.
