Just finished watching spiderwick, thought it's spiderman spoofs, cuts compiled. I'm a spiderman fanatic you know. Yeah, yeah. you're friendly neighborhood. I'm not friendly. forget it. Back to the movie, now. Spiderwick chronicles; another fantasy movie. Arthur Spiderwick- the author of the book, oh that book; Ogres will kill you just to have it. Arthur wrote that book based on his studies and experiences with the magical creatures. Yes, Fairies, Griffins. including the ogres! I would say this film would make for a great matinée on a Sunday with the kids.Wait wait, i didn't say im a kid as well. Back.. Back. Jared, Simon, Mallory and their mother moved to Arthur Spiderwick's house. Hey, Arthur's gone 80 years ago. He disappeared, mysteriously. 80 years? you think he's still alive? He had one daughter, lucie, lucy?(im not sure of the spelling, ignore it) . Where's lucy now? Home for the aged i guess. whatever you call it, she's not in their house. And she's old. Back to Jared's family, Jared Grace, his twin Simon, older sister Mallory moved to Arthur's house, we'll his their great great grandfather,or uncle? Ah, a relative. Jared don't like the idea of moving to their new house, who would love to? the house is somewhat located in a forest. Creepy. He wanted to stay with his dad. Oh well, he didn't know the reason why they moved there. It was all because of their father. But he didn't know,he's expecting his dad will fetch him. Liar. I wouldn't want to blame his mom, for not telling him the truth, that his dad is not going to fetch him, because he left them. For another girl. Dads. Tsk. I understand. There's little jared still holding on to his dad's promise of picking him up the next day. The movie is really nice, you might say im childish for watching this kind of movie. I don't care. I love the story. Spoiler. Spoiler. Arthur Spiderwick is alive!! hahaha. Just don't want to elaborate more of the fantasy part of the movie. He's being kept by the fairies, to protect him from the Ogres. The Ogres wanted the book he wrote. Now where's the book it's in the house! in the attic i guess. A secret room. In a chest. It is guarded by one magical creature, Arthur told him to keep the book safe. KEEP IT AWAY FROM OGRES. And evil mulgarath. who's mulgarath? Villains always have their big boss. LOL. The house is protected by a magical circle, yes a circle, Ogres can't go near the house because of the circle. so if you're being chased by ogres you just have to run inside the circle and your safe. You can then tease the ogres, for they can't enter. Ha ha. Spoiler again, Arthur is still alive and as old as the day he disappeared. But the moment he step out of that world where the fairies kept him, he'll be useless. LOL. Old Old, he'll turn into dust Arthur said nobody gets out of that place(the place where the fairies took him). For they will erase your memory, worst than having an amnesia. haha. did i say worst? didn't mean it. Remember Lucy from 50 first dates? she's suffering from an amnesia; when she sleeps she forgets everything she did for that day. It's good when you have problems. The same happens to Arthur Spiderwick, he still thinks his daughter is young. blah blah.. you know what i mean. Jared then thought he must get out of that place for he remembered the last words he told his mother, "I hate you, and i don't wanna live with you" . hahaha. OK,OK. They were able to get out of the place (they: simon,jared,mallory). I almost forgot, tomatoes kills ogres; ows?! The magical creature guarding the book loves honey, when he gets mad, he turns into an ugly creature. Don't Panic. Just give him honey, he'll calm down. Now that explains why there's a bunch of honey's and tomatoes stocked in the house.... Enough of this. I'm tired. Here's the last spoiler, They defeated the ogres and mulgarath. Lucy went home, Arthur arrived. To live with them? No he can't live with them remember? The fairies gave him a chance to see Lucy, father daughter reunion. Lucy told Arthur that if he can't live with them, she'd rather be with him, wherever it takes. And so Lucy became young again, but happy; with her father. For her that's all it takes to be happy. And they lived happily ever after.
